Rock Garden: Cuba, Portugal & Jamaica

These rocks are from my father’s collection, which we have both been adding to over the years.  1. Blushing Star Coral. Holguín, Cuba (2012) From the white sand beaches near Banes, an area dotted with over 100 archeological sites chronicling the history of Cuba's aboriginal population.

2. Limestone. Armação de Pera, Portugal (2001). From the coastal town in the Algarve where the Atlantic ocean carves creamy limestone into jagged cliffs and smooth arches.

3. Beach Rock Fossil. Ocho Rios, Jamaica (1998) From the beaches of Ocho Rios Bay, surrounded by kilometres of rich coral beds which are under threat today from overfishing, hurricanes and a booming human population.
