I suppose it’s time I answered my own 10Qs (is that like talking to yourself?). Here we go:

1. What is your dearest/funniest/strangest childhood travel memory?
It was my parents who instilled the love of travel in me and for that I am forever grateful. So since I have many childhood trip memories I’ll share some quick snapshots:

Having the back seat of our tiny, blue Fiat made into a cozy ‘kid room’ with sleeping bags, pillows, books and toys, foot space filled in with our tent and luggage—my own cozy travelling capsule. A long lost time before seat belts & kid car seats…

Teresa Ko is one take-charge chick. Recently she decided to make a life change (including a brand new career). Now she’s back and ready to hunt down her new career in holistic health with what she refers to as “insane intensity”! The right trip will do that to a girl.

10 Questions: Victoria Hannan

1. What is your dearest / funniest / strangest childhood travel memory?
I first went overseas when I was four. Our flight from Adelaide to Bangkok was delayed and we missed our connecting flight to London. We were stranded in Bangkok for 24 hours and I have the most intense and vivid memories from that day: the hotel staff in the lift giving me sweets, big chandeliers in the foyer, the heaviness of the air, the shanty town we could see from our hotel window, a dead cat in the market, my sister throwing up in the bath. I think it was the first time I realised just how big the world is…
